The Minnesota chapter of WIFT joins over 40 other Women in Film chapters with 10,000 global members. Our goals are to educate, empower, engage, and support women in these industries.

The Film Society of Minneapolis St. Paul (MSP Film) is Minnesota’s foremost film exhibition organization. The Minnesota Film Festival (MFF) shines a light on local films, Indigenous voices, stories from across the midwest, and beyond! Held annually each Spring at the Zeitgeist’s Zinema, MFF brings together film lovers and filmmakers.
MFF champions local talent alongside international films to bridge communities through new perspectives. Throughout the week, guests can look forward to film screenings, post-film conversations with film guests, community events, networking opportunities, parties, and more!
Our mission is to build, support and enhance our visual arts community through providing local film artists with education, training, networking, and distribution and employment opportunities; provide art enthusiasts and advocates with access to regional and national film talent forging a rich social dialogue through film; and provide the state with a vehicle through which film production and exhibition can sustain the local film industry.
