Permitting

UMFO does not issue film permits. Minnesota does not require a statewide filming permit, but local, state and federal jurisdictions will likely require one. UMFO covers a vast geographical area and permitting timelines and requirements vary greatly across the region.   We are here to help you find the best location and to facilitate the proper permitting and permissions.
